Aura Coolidge is a luxury multi-family residential community situated in the heart of Uptown Central Phoenix at the crossroads of the Arizona Grand Canal and the Phoenix Sonoran Bikeway. The 218 unit development has four floors of residences, wrapped around a parking structure located on the east side of the development, screened from view for the surrounding neighborhood/ Vehicular access to the property is provided by a driveway on Coolidge Street at the northeast corner of the site with direct access to the parking garage. This location is intended to mitigate the traffic impact on the single-family homes to the west by directing traffic from Central Avenue into the garage before it reaches the neighborhood. The primary amenity/pool area is located in the center of the residence building, with two secondary amenity areas along the southern canal frontage. Interactivity with the canalscape and facilitation of alternative modes of transportation will be prominent design elements in this project. We hope to provide an attractive and interactive canalscape, but also improve the pedestrian paseo and canal access at 3rd Avenue and Hazelwood Street with enhanced landscaping, art, hardscape, shade, and seating opportunities.
