The Markana Uptown Apartments are a proposed multifamily development, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. These apartments are comprised of 192 units within a six-story, 346,970 SF building, which includes a two-story garage structure. The parking provides for residential guests, Hilton Garden Inn, Bucca de Beppo restaurant, and Park Square workers. The leasing office is located on the ground level at the southeast corner of the building. The first residential level (Podium level) has two open courtyards connected by a covered breezeway. The first level courtyards comprise of 22,173 SF. The south courtyard includes the pool area with amenities including cabanas, ramadas, and a seating area. The fitness center, recreational space, and pool house are located on the first floor of the building, oriented towards the pool courtyard. The north courtyard is also an open space with ramadas, barbecues, game lawn and seating areas. The modern architecture included will be a combination of different materials as well as a flat roof. This will feature traditional materials and provide simple detailing. The colors will be natural to warm finish colors, blending in with the setting and neighboring developments.
