Markana Phase II

Markana Phase II is a 99-unit rental community on 4.48 acres adjacent to Markana Phase I at the northeast corner of Alameda and San Pedro Drive NE Albuquerque, NM. The buildings are composed of four-story wood frame construction with individual garages serving as the first floor with residential units above. The building footprints are a series of U-shaped buildings that focus on San Pedro Street frontage and a common area. The average unit size is approximately 892 SF consisting of 42% 1Bd/1Ba and 57% 2Bd/2Ba. The combination of suburban finishes and amenities deliver a high-quality medium density product in what is widely viewed as a strong infill location. The project design is tailored to respond to market feedback including both structured, garage and covered parking, updated floor plans, heightened unit finishes and enhanced common area amenities. Common areas include a resort style pool and outdoor activity center for gaming and social activity opportunities. The pool area includes a common area courtyard with outdoor cooking areas and open space. A pedestrian path system will link the residences to the Phase I community. The architecture has been designed in the spirit of the Phase I buildings to the east to harmonize refined contemporary forms with rich textured elements.
